CAPTURE ENERGY SOLUTIONS - SERVICES

The Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) under the US DOE has enacted two specific legal requirements for all Federal Facilities. The first requirement is a 30% reduction in energy use by 2015 with 2003 as the base year. The second requirement is that by 2015, 9% of the Facility’s energy must come from renewable and alternative energy sources.

  1. According to Air Force Research Lab's 4th annual energy summit: 16 laws and Presidential Executive Orders mandating Military energy conservation and alternative energy since 2006.

  2. Energy Security has become a national defense priority.

  3. The Navy is preparing to fulfill a goal laid out by Navy Secretary Ray Mabus to get 50 percent of its shore energy from alternative sources by 2020.

  4. Air Force on track to meet its 2016 goal to have 50% of jet fuel from renewables.

  5. USMC has adopted "10 in 10". Ten goals in 2010 to reduce dependency on fossil fuels.

  6. Each branch has conducted 2-4 Energy Summits with the Joint Chiefs of staff participating.

Capture executives and key personnel have the ability to meet with DOD and DOE leaders and decision makers to assist with their energy conservation and alternative energy requirements. Currently, Capture is utilizing two US General Service Administration (GSA) Contracts as a means of entry to various federal facilities. Capture is also in the process of teaming with PCL to utilize existing IDIQ’s.
