The Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) under the US DOE has enacted two specific legal requirements for all Federal Facilities. The first requirement is a 30% reduction in energy use by 2015 with 2003 as the base year. The second requirement is that by 2015, 9% of the Facility’s energy must come from renewable and alternative energy sources.
Capture executives and key personnel have the ability to meet with DOD and DOE leaders and decision makers to assist with their energy conservation and alternative energy requirements. Currently, Capture is utilizing two US General Service Administration (GSA) Contracts as a means of entry to various federal facilities. Capture is also in the process of teaming with PCL to utilize existing IDIQ’s.
