06/16/2010 Press Release: Capture Energy Solutions Awarded Contract for Complete Energy Conservation Services at Tyndall Air Force Base, FL.
On June 2nd 2010, Gulf Power announced the award of a Utilities Energy Services Contract to Siemens and Capture Energy Solutions of Tampa, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia. Capture Energy Solutions (CES) is an energy development company providing a holistic approach to reducing energy use and the provision of alternative and renewable energy sources. CES is already leading in an effort to provide secure, economic and clean power by making use of landfill gas in Clayton County, GA.
This newest project will help Tyndall Air Force Base reach their federally mandated goals to reduce energy use. CES, a service disabled veteran owned small business, is focused on the federal and local government sectors, but plans to serve a wide array of markets with mature, proven technologies.
LtCol Rob Barrow, USMC (Ret), said, “Part of our mission is to find ways for military installations to save on energy where they can, so that those dollars can go to other programs that serve our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines and the great families who support them. Energy security is a grave concern to installation commanders and we want to help in any way we can improve that security.”
